Sixty years of training between us, and tens of thousands of people taught. We write the courses and we build the platform they run on — this is what happened when those two things met.
Our team
Between us we have sixty years in training and have taught tens of thousands of people.
That has meant more than twenty years across further education and the private training sector — setting up and developing multiple approved training centres, delivering a broad range of courses, and designing and writing accredited training programmes and assessments. It has meant producing the course manuals, technical literature and learner-focused resources that go with them, where the content has to be compliant and accessible at the same time. And it has meant sitting on industry working groups, contributing to the direction and continuous improvement of standards across the sector.
It has also meant building the systems that deliver all of it. We have set up training centres and built training systems across Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, and spent twenty years designing online training platforms. The mentor, the assessment engine and the integrity checks that audit the platform's own questions are our own work.
We take a practical, outcomes-driven approach: the test of training is whether someone can do the job afterwards. And we care particularly about energy efficiency across the UK's housing stock, where properly trained professionals are what actually change the outcome.
Why we built it
Training that stops at the certificate doesn't change what happens on site. It's possible to do better now, and most of the sector hasn't noticed yet.
Youth programmes
We also run hands-on construction skills programmes for young people aged 14 and over, with schools and colleges. It's the same conviction from the other end: the sooner someone gets their hands on the real work, the better the training sticks.
